Well don't everybody speak up at once.
Plenty of trout but no trophy types for me Saturday (6th) so not very much to tell about. I do however, have one story I'd like to share. This may have happened to some of you sometime but it was the first for me. I'm out in the center of Trillium Lake trolling along when a fish decides he's hungry enough to bite into a hook covered with thread and feathers. Needless to say he was pissed! Jump'n, tug'n, you name it. The fish was all over the place. Then, out of a clear blue sky and, like materializing out of some sort of tele-portation device, an osprey appeared on top of the water where I had last seen my fish jump. Before I could say Woo Carp, the bird was airborne and flying away with a tight grip on the trout and peeling my line to the backing. In helpless disbelief, I held the reel tight and felt the line break. So much for that.
All in all the drive up was well worth the trip. It's always nice to enjoy a day out fishing.
