I gotta say from the perspective of a long time bait fisherman there is something great about catching a fish fly fishing.

There's a different feel to it for me. It's more cerebral and peaceful to me.

I still have a lot to learn like stripping instead of being on the reel when the wind is blowing you towards the fish as it's coming at you (created a ton of slack and fish threw the hook) but I'm very willing to learn.
