Hi. Im looking for some big carp spots. Not to poach your spot but a little help of known big carp lakes. Any help would be really appreciated. I spend a lot of time in Neskowin, but I’m from Reno nv. So somewhere in between would be great. Catch and release only. Thank you.

If you haven't tried carp angling I recommend giving it a shot. And if you are already into it head first try getting into the euro style. So much fun

Legendary CO based fly rod carper Mctage made the journey to OR to join me for a few days of carping in the high, dirty, nasty Columbia waters. Yes, the water is high. It was a great trip highlighted by some fantastic takes, ninja style stealth, big fish, unique settings (I caught a 21 lb fish a...

I've only caught them in the warmer months and never target them during the winter before. Do they still bite during the dead of winter where it's cold like right now? I'm thinking of going to fern ridge dam --- below the spillway.

Been doing real well lately in the suburban lakes. Good action on nearly every trip! All caught on corn and these weird Japanese pellets I ordered online. All fish released unharmed of course; even though they're technically an invasive species in these smaller lakes there's only a limited...

I'll preface this post by saying that I've caught thousands of fish in my lifetime, and probably close to 100 different species... but I've never caught a carp, and I've decided it's time. I just moved to Oregon 3 weeks ago so I've been exploring the area, and there seem to be a lot of places...

Had an incredible day of carp fishing at one of my local lakes. It should be pretty obvious where it is based on the background. Otherwise, I will say no more as hardcore carp fishermen in the past have "expressed their discontent" about me giving fishing reports from these ponds. I encourage...
