astoria fish festival

I heard about the Astoria Fish Festival going on this weekend and was wondering if anyone has has gone in years past and has any imput on it. It is a bit of a drive from the Portland Metro area. Is there much to it? Im kinda of interested in going but don't want to make the drive if it is going to be a bust.

Astoria is a awesome place , If u never been i would go just to check out the town.

Ditto on it simply being a cool place to visit. I've only been there 3 or 4 times. But, the town has a lot of neat character.
