Surf or jetty fishing

I am going camping and fishing just south of winchester bay at the end of august and was wondering if there were any good spots to surf or jetty fish around there. Any help is much appreciated...

It has been a wile, but I have done pretty good off the south jetty. Last time I fished it I used sand shrimp. I would try a few jigs too. Good luck.

Got plenty of crabs but didn't really fish hard since my daughter was with me I didn't want to go far out on the jetty. Beautiful though and i was shocked at how clear the water was!
