Another big brown from the Deschutes

I went two for three today. The bigger one was feisty and swim away before i got a picture.

I'll start trying to safely get better pictures

another long skinny one. somewhere over 20 inches hit on the first cast. Pictures soon to have the above fly hanging from their lips

Nice catch Wes. Sure is great to get into some fish when your enduring the elements like that. The water looks pretty high there. Looking forward to going after those in March.

Thanks Alex. Yeah the water has been extra high lately giving me a chance to try out some new techniques. Have you been able to get out lately? if so i hope you've got one to stick. I'm looking forward to march too. Hope we can get you into some big boys

Yeah, I went out Sunday and got a 5-6lbr wild fish on my centerpin. First steelhead on the pin and it was really cool. Plus, I broke my losing-fish streak (thanks to my c.p. setup). It fell for a pink worm under a float cruising a seam below some heavy rapids.

dang man nice fish...thats one fish i wish i could catch. I think the last one i caught was when i was a kid.
