Any suggested places to start to gain some experience.

much appreciated, thanks. What would you say is a fair price for this used boat?

I saw that listed on Craigslist. That is a SWEET little drifter. If I hadn't had to put a new roof on the house that would already be sitting in my shop.

Take it out to Hagg and practice with the oars on flat water.

Great looking pram there! Welcome to OFF. Not sure about places around you, but coast is heating up for fall nooks now.

Best,

I agree with TimberTodd, first get some time on the oars on flat water. I first learned to drift on moving water on the lower Sandy. Enough water to learn and have fun and not too much to eat you up.
