I still have a slow leaking bladder....actually OFF Saturday but I doubt I will be there. :frown-new: This is the first one that I will miss. Hope the bees and hornets aren't still at the site. You all have a great time.
Great report, Jimmy! Unfortunately, we didn't make it over to your camp on Friday. I felt I would be abandoning Jeanna if I left her there. We hung out to make sure that her parents arrived and by that time decided that it was too late to head your way. Raincheck? At least we waved as we drifted...
hey, I got my first salmon last year....I had fun and enjoyed it and it wasn't on a fly......plan on getting more this year hopefully....ain't nothing wrong with salmon fishing.
I was talking to a woman at work about fly fishing and I told her I was going to the Deschutes for the salmonfly hatch....she said she loves fishing for salmon....I just let it go and didn't say a word.
Hope to see a lot of these...WOOT WOOT!!!
I am leaving at 5 am on Wed so I should be able to get a campsite....fingers crossed. Let me know of any change in plans as far as where we are camping, as of now it will be Trout Creek, right?
sounds like you did as good as I did. Got the whole year ahead of us though so we have a lot of time and a lot of water to catch fish. Nice pics. I will post mine soon.
Rain in the forecast but that won't stop me. I am irritated that the free camping has been restricted on Quartzville. Thanks to the idiots that had no respect for the outdoors. Unfortunately, we all suffer and are denied the enjoyment of camping along a beautiful river. The idiots will just move...
