    Welcome Troutdude! Last I looked Gales Creek was catch and release all-year, but check the regs on that! Id recommend a trip to Vernonia pond. Lots of willing trout. And steelhead, bass, etc. Also I believe Wash. Co. Flyfishers has a meeting in Beaverton this Wed! Nice group! see Web for...

    Hello Isaihah!? Remember, there can be some “overlap” between trout and Steelie fishing! Some interesting trout activity Usyally this time if year by the Hagg dam! Akso try vernonia lake. Bass, Crappie. Also when I was younger, the Nehalem was Quite the Producer! But check those regs!! Good luck

    Any tips for a newbie on the Kilchis?

    I was on the Trask 2 wks ago at Lorens and saw a good number of chinook being taken! They seemed a little dark, but surprising to see chinook this late! Someone told me numerous fish were visible! So lets not kill the goose that lays the Golden Egg! Dave

    Would it be possible to believe that Land owners and companies wiuld try to strip out any marketable timber BEFORE the buffers change? Just sayin….😗
