Any size to the White sturgeon in the Harrisburg area?

We fished Odell on Saturday with limited success. The weather was calm and comfortable and the three of us had visions of limiting out. We started at Princess creek and worked our way over to Trappers creek. We passed a lot of boats on the way, at least 50 and only saw a couple of fish caught...

Fished the N. Umpqua today. Fishing a dark blue Wiggle Wart, I had a hard hit. I ran 2 more colors and bang, fish on, with a silver and blue striped Wiggle Wart. Turned out to be a native, and after a nice fight, back she went. A little later, I tossed my favorite blue Bf spinner and bingo, fish...

Fished the North Umpqua with my dad and niece. We used spinners, jigs,and corkies. Around 9 am I hooked into a 4# steelhead that jumped twice and threw my #4 BF firetiger. About 11 my dad hooked a real fighter. This 8lb fish did it's best to stay off the bank, jumping and stripping out line...

I always wear one. I change spinners real often, and I hike the river a mile or two, so I carry water and snacks.

Fishing from the bank. The water level still looks good, but not sure how boating from Leaburg dam down would be. This time of year you may hit a few rocks.

Fished the North Umpqua below Rock creek today. The day started out gray and a little cool, looked ideal for fishing. Fished all morning and only fish was a 14" maybe baby steelhead on a red Wiggle Wart. (see pic) About noon the sun came out and so did the fish. Had a 5 pounder on a silver...

Fished the Mckenzie near Leaburg today. Found a 26" fish on a #5 Black Blue Fox spinner. Not many people fishing up there today. Didn't see any other fish, and felt pretty lucky to put one on the bank.

Back to the North Umpqua today. Hooked two and landed a 28" steelie. Using #4 Blue Fox spinner, first fish hit a firetiger and raced across river, did a cartwheel and threw my hook. Next fish took a #3 black at the tail out of a rapid. After a nice scrap I was able to bank this chrome bright...

Fished the North below Rock creek today. Hooked three and landed this 27" fish on a blue Blue Fox spinner. Also saw two guys on the trail with four fish before 8 AM. Beautiful day, sunny and 80, with fish biting. :cool:

How bout a striped bass or sturgeon, shad don't get that big. Not sure the stripers go that far up river.

Fished the gravel bar below Leaburg Dam along with 17 other people. We got there early, otherwise we would have headed somewhere else. The fishing was real slow. Not a strike or sign of fish. We were just about to head out when my green and black Blue Fox spinner found this 28" steelie. Nice way...
