Upper Nehalem River Fishing

I'm gonna be out in Vernonia tomorrow and want to test some new spinners I made. I will be at Vernonia Pond but will probably try the Nehalem River. Anyone else fish near Vernonia.

Well I managed to get out on the water and in about 20 min I caught 4 nice little trout, the biggest being around 12-13 but they were all pretty skinny. Caught three of them on my first three casts. It was nice to throw on the waders and hike a small stream.

Hey beaverfan I'm new to this forum but not to fishing the Vernonia area. I believe it is some of the best cutthroat fishing anywhere where are you hailing from love to hook up and fish some I am in Hillsboro so it's not far for me.
