Share your species list (..also, what to target next??)

So a few months back I started putting together a list of the fish species I've caught (see below, species caught in Oregon in bold). I only included species that I've identified with 100% confidence, and excluded any I wasn't sure about, and also excluded many types of fish from my younger days that I can guess at, but not be sure of 100%.

1) Does anyone have a similar list to share (ideally following the same standard as noted above)? It would be cool to see some other lists.

2) Does anyone have any suggestions for new species to target from the bank (in, or relatively near, to the Portland area)? Walleye are definitely topping that list for me...would also love to get into some chum salmon and the various surf/jetty species in the ocean!

Hardhead catfish
Brown bullhead
Yellow bullhead
Yellow perch
Channel catfish

White perch
American eel
Largemouth bass
Smallmouth bass
Rock bass
Pumpkinseed
Bluegill
Green sunfish
Chinook
Coho
Steelhead rainbow trout
Rainbow trout
Cutthroat trout
Brown trout
Brook trout
Speckled seatrout
Whiting
Northern puffer
White sturgeon
Black crappie
White crappie
Largescale sucker
Northern pikeminnow
Common carp
Mountain whitefish

Nice thread. I've landed every specie, on your highlighted Oregon list--except for Coho and Sturgeon. And I've caught Browns, Brooks, and Rock Bass, on your non-highlighted list. But not the rest.

Nice! I'm hoping to put Browns & Brookies on the Oregon list this summer via some trips down south...

Seatrout: When I was fishing for Bottom fish I caught a Sea Trout and it was on a squid lure off of the coast of Garibaldi.
Black Bass: squid lure off of squid lure off of the coast of Garibaldi.

Nice lists. I've since caught a couple surfperch species but can't seem to edit my original post.

I notice no chinook on the list yet Lance!

Ah, I was lookin' for an excuse to post it again anyway !

Also forgot to include Razor clams, Dungies, and Red Rock Crabs on my list, both caught and to be pursued. I also want to add other clam varieties and mussels to the hitlist.

Those are long lists! I don't think I have the patience to figure it out :) I'll target salmon more this next year, I want to become more proficient at fishing for em. You'll see me on my new pontoon at Siltcoos for sure, only fished there a couple of times.

That's an epic list. But no sturgeon yet???

I also think it would be awesome to get into some stripers down south, but have no idea how that might happen without a boat..

I forgot Lake trout. Admittedly, several of those I have caught only one of. Anymore, almost all my effort goes into salmon , steelhead, and salt water species. As for the stripers, I have gathered a lot of intel but just have not gotten out to try much. I know when and where to go and how.

Those are all some awesome lists.

Caught in Oregon

Rainbow Trout
Sea run Cutthroat Trout
Cutthroat Trout
Yellow Belly Catfish
Blue Gill
Black Crappie
Small Mouth Bass
Large Mouth Bass
Brown Trout
Brook Trout
Kokanee
Chinook
Coho

Striped Perch
Pile Perch
Black Rock
Kelp Greenling
Rock Greenling
Gabezon
Redband Trout
Pacific Herring
Shad
Striped Bass
Hybrid Striped Bass

Bullfrog

Those are the only ones that I can identify with 100% confidence. There have also been several types of sculpin, a couple of types of ocean perch, and a couple of sunfish types I have hooked into that I was unsure of. I have also hooked into and fought a couple of other goofy critters that I either didn't land or were accidental by-catches. My favorite is a wolf eel.

What to target
Lingcod
Sturgeon
Wolf Eel
California Halibut (Roger's video this last summer got me super stoked for that)
Blue Shark
Lake Trout
