Milo Mclver park opening times

Well i was planning on hitting the dog creek entrance for steel but noticed that the park doesn't open until 7am

IS there a way i can get in the park ealier and if not does any one have a spot i could go to instead early in the morning.

Faraday is slow and am not sure if bonnie lure would work since i dont have waders

There is no gate to the Dog Creek section of McIver. Legal opening is 1 hour before sunrise. When you arrive at the park ignore the "Park Opens at 7 am" signs. Those are for the gated areas. If you don't believe me ask the dozen anglers there at 6am.

Do you have to pay for the parking? I saw cars that didn't pay...And i am sure they didn't have the full year or whatever permit either..

i did just to be safe but maybe if you leave before 7 then you wonjt have to pay the day use fee... but that most likely wishful thinking
