LAMIGLAS xmg 50

Aanybody know how good the warranty is on a lamiglas xmg 50? And is it a strong rod?

It's just my opinion; but I refuse to buy Lamiglas rods because their guarantee SUCKS!!! I bought a steelie rod once, back in 80's. On its maiden voyage it cracked and shattered, a few inches above the handle. I took it back to the sporting goods shop. They sent it to Lamiglas. Lamiglas returned it the SAME broken condition; and said it did not look like a manufacturing defect! I have never purchased a new Lami ever since.

i broke my 9'2 xmg landing a fish and the gal at the factory jus gaved me a new one, so my experinced with them is pretty good. i mean unless u intentionally break em by mis handling it then yea they're not gonna cover...thats jus my thought tho

My buddies xmg 50 9'2 8-15 pound line broke on him after four steelies.

I hear the new SI is actually really good...no more breakage problem like the XMG....but to upgrade my xmg to SI is 200 bucks more....A...HOLE...jus my thought
