I am Looking for a place I used to go fishing for steelhead, Trout,etc. It is called Conney creek, or Coney Creek.

It is 11 mile past Mapleton on highway 36 in a town called Swisshome. It is where Lake Creek meet Siuslaw river. It think the road you have turn on is Stagecoach rd. Then a left into Conney. It is fenced and has 3 or 4 nice fishing spots. Has anyone fished there lately?

If it is fenced it is most likely privately owned and has little to no public access.

No, the back story on this place is. The of the property willed the land to fishermen when he died. There is a camp host that lives there, take care of the property and closes the gate at night. It is open to all fishermen.

Correct, Siuslaw and Lake Creek are currently open for steelhead through March 31, then they reopen for trout on May 22.
