Got this hen today right below Cedar Creek. No secret spot whatsoever. I don't usually fish by Cedar Creek with the crowds but nobody was there today across the creek and it was too high and fast where I usually fish. Used a lot of jigs and switched to pink worms then drifted some yarnies and even tried some row. Threw out the #3 orange Michael Jackson on first cast and got this hen. 31 inches almost 10 pounds. Also broke in my new Loomis rod with it's first fish.

Every other time I have gone down there it's been shoulder to shoulder and sometimes a snag fest. Saw another guy get one there. On the other side of the creek it was crowded with guys that had no waders. Saw 2 guys over there hook 3. Every time they had a fish on they were trying to muscle it in and broke off every fish.
