well we didn't go anyways today-didn't take a chance, i went salmon fishing today but we are fishing mercer tomorrow tied some damsel nymphs to test out

I went yesterday Gate was open, and boats are allowed.
But there's a new twist. Aaron Mercer is full of juvenile Coho ( 6"-8" ) which kept grabbing my bait before the Cutts could get to it. ( They weren't there last year. ) And you are NOT allowed to keep any of them, according to a guy I talked to. ( Thank goodness I was releasing them anyway. )
The upshot is, I managed one decent cutt, a 13 incher for the day.
