Hey, any recent reports on this place? Looking for a place where we can catch trout, bass, catfish, crappie, and more and still get away from people a little. Is Ochoco the place? Any suggestions on crappie tackle? Bye the way, do not go to the Fall unless you have mosquito repellant!

Fished Fish Lake today for a couple hours, no luck, but saw quite a few rising. Had lunch at Lake of Woods. Not one boat on the lake. Waiter said it was slow to non-existent for fish. Tried Klamath Lake for 4 hours - might have caught a cold...

Fish Lake is open along some edges, so I expect Lake of the Woods to be about the same.

Meeting my Dad at McNary as it is half way between Portland and Ontario. How has your luck been for walleyes up there? Any tips? If you're in the area this weekend, drop by the blue & white boat that doesn't look like it should be used for fishing (Hurricane). I'll buy you a beer.
