My bad. After reading it a third time I see that he was arrested.

I build high rises and I am afraid of heights.

No matter what he broke the law and should be punished. I was just pointing out that he could have been filling his 12 yr old sons tag(which is a crime) and had a skull that he found in the woods. It doesn't even say he was arrested like this thread title states.

Where does it say he is hunting out of season? Don't get me wrong I think he should be punished for every crime he broke. I just said that people have always filled other peoples tags. I wouldn't do it or let someone fill mine but it happens.

The worst thing I see is the trespassing. People have been filling others tags for years. I wouldn't do it but my dad did fill one of mine when I was a kid.

This happened right at the boat launch.

Luckily the only thing my kid remembers is the superman underwear. Actually I think they were what I found the oddest part of the whole thing.

The only thing that doesn't taste better with salt.

So I went down to Clackamette with my 8 year old son tonight. I figure he can feed the birds while I throw a few spinners. An old lady about 60 something shows up with her dog. She says my son son can throw a stick in the water for the dog and they are upstream but close enough to me that I'm ok...

I thought about going with 12# but I heard we get mostly nates and I didn't want to tire them out any more than I had to. Like I said it's new to me also but I'm sure someone who knows more will come along.

I may head out in the morning and try some spinners. It's new to me also but I heard it's a decent option. I would think 15# main would be plenty but someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
