Struck out today. Gave it a try down at clackamette park for a while this morning. I wasn't getting a real good vibe from the lack of boats and bank fishermen, but stuck out there for a couple of hours. Since I was banking it I stuck with the a drift fishing set up. jThrowing dick nites and...
Hey guys.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of people catching shad above the falls. I've heard of people catching it below the falls in Oregon City, just didn't know if they made it up past the falls or head elsewhere. Kinda want to give it a try out at Champoeg or San Salvador but...
Hey Bass. I'm in the area and just got myself (and the misses) a couple kayaks. Took them out at the Chehalem Paddle launch just south of Dundee. San Salvador, and wheatland ferry are other good launch sites, as well as Rogers Landing. The Yamhill has a boat launch in Dayton. I haven't been...
Hey guys,
Does anyone know if cabezon could be capeable of living in the willemette up near the falls. I was down there yesterday and caught something about 9 inches long that sure looked like a cabezon. Any thoughts....could it be something else.
nice point halibut man, that was my thought when I started reading this. Unless you are going to have some one hump all of that elk out, taking it down at 500 yards probably isn't going to save you a lot of walking. Not to mention if you not used to shooting that distance it is going to take a...

yeah, been to the Yamhill locks area. Nice park but haven't fished it yet. I think I am going to do a little river scouting today. Might be a whole lot of driving for nothing but a pretty good day for it none the less.
So who knows of some bank access to the willamette in the Newberg/Dundee/St.Paul/Dayton area. I know it is largely privately owned farm land. There has to be more access than just Roger's Landing.
