I got my first salmon today near Gold Beach on the Rogue. Didn't have a scale but everyone guessed about 21-22lbs but since its my fish I'm pretty sure its more like 25lbs;)

Just a small pond my buddy took me to around Melrose. I don't know the name but its pretty small. The only reason I went up there was to practice fly casting. But I happened to have my other rod as well so I threw on some spinner bait and started slamming em.
Few of the fish me and a buddy caught today. Also happened to be the first couple bass we caught this year. Mine(guy in white) were caught on black spinner bait and my buddy caught his on gold old night crawlers.
I was just curious if you guys use packaged leaders or just buy leader material? I bought leader material and I was also curious how much leader is typically used on a fly line?
And after putting the leader on how much tippet is generally used?

Wow...and I thought it was bad at the river yesterday...me and a few buddies wend fishing up Swiftwater and on the one rock we were fishing on there was a 40 oz. beer bottle, six 12 oz. beer cans, an empty hook package, spare or used eggs just smashed all over the rocks...
I was thinking about heading up to Tokatee or one of the Forebays near Tokatee and was just wondering if anyone has had a chance to go up there recently. I was mostly wondering what the road conditions were like. Any info would be appreciated.
