I think I am going to try this out when I wake up. Does anyone know if I need to schedule ahead or if I can show up? If so do I need to be there by a certain time to catch that boat?
I fished along the damn on the upper big creek 2 part. The guy on my left maxed out and the guy on my right almost did. As for me I had nothing! I tried worms, orange power bait, green power bait, eggs, and more. Just wasn't my day I guess.
The guy beside me was catching them left and right. he caught double his limit on the docks using a blue colored power bait. the pond was real hot today if you where using the right powerbait in the right spot. Hope to head back out there later this week.
I caught my largest fish ever today, although its only 12.5 inches long. This is my first year fishing so I am pretty happy with the catch. Below is a picture. Caught him this afternoon at salish ponds in fairview using green/orange sparkly power bait. Also caught a couple nice 9 inchers as well...
There all still alive! They must be very hardy, Ive had them in the 5 gallon bucket of lake water for around 16-18 hours now.
The tricky parts going to be cleaning them, Ive never done that before and dont have a filete knife.
Hey everyone,
I am new to the forums and to fishing. I caught 4 catfish today at sauvie island (sturgen lake i think)
There still alive swiming around in the bucket right now. How longwill they live in there and how do you reccomend I kill them before trying to cook them?
Thanks!
