Never been there.I"m going to visit my son in Eugene shortly and take him fishing and maybe camp.If open.We have a boat so any info will be nice.Trout ,cokes etc.

Never heard it was catch and release only are you sure it's the one by hood river?I've been there many times but haven't made it this year yet.This time of year you can use almost anything /kast masters are realy good blue silver. make sure you twist your hooks.I was there last year at this time...
Don't know if they are this year but sometimes they throw some leftover steelhead in too.Bobber 3ft leader and sand shrimp.Water is like chocolate milk right now but when it clears up it's not a bad little pond.And believe it or not there is also bass in it.Boats ok No Motors period.Good luck!
On the fly has got it down ,you can't miss with that combo if you are fishing the lost lake out of Dee.There are many lost lakes in Oregon.Bubble and fly works very well.Good luck
You might try a crawler with a mini marshmellow They used to call it a shasta fly or a mini marshmellow threaded past a treble hook and put a salmon egg on each barb and slide the marshmellow down the hook(trout sandwitch).Thats what we use to use before power bait and it smells a lot better.I...
