In late summer the boardwalk is lined with salmon fishermen. It's not the best place, but you can get lucky there. As far as saltwater fishing goes... The south jetty is tough to fish considering the north wind pounds the s&*@ out of it from this time of year...
Bam-Bam works his tail off on that boat, great personality too! I've never had a bad experience with that crew, always lots of fish and good times! 12lbs of rock fish at $6-7/lb more than pays for the trip! Glad you enjoyed them! Im surpirsed you didn't get into any lings:(
Well done! The ocean is going to be a mess for a while now. I'm glad you made it out there and found a ling! This time of year there will be a higher population of lings closer to the shore due to spawning. It's a great time to get out when the weather and ocean align!

Nothing like a jug of Carlo! I also enjoy a nice BOX as well. It serves for many useful applications. Once the bladder is empty you can use it as a flotation device, pillow or a beach ball:)
