Freeway Lakes? These two have been caught this year on the FWL.:
There are some big bass in there, it should not be over-looked!

I wasn't sayin it wasn't worth fishing! It was more of a general statement on the surroundings!

Oh well I agree with that point! The third pond in the FWL system is where it's at. The majority of the land is privately owned so the banks are obviously MUCH cleaner. Assuming you have a boat..

Yeah pretty much the only chance you have is along the north shore and there is still a lot of water flowing out of the pond thid time of year so you might want some waders...

I think I'll wait til i get my boat in Cali, or it dries out a bit. I met the mud out there in a very bad way last i tried.........still pickin mud outta strange places!

yea i could understand that! freeway is great. although i just dont like to be around all the people so i normally only go when i can get my boat out there.

I'm with ya on that one! I try to only go out mid-week so its a lil quieter. No boat means i get to deal with the crowds no matter what.
