Best options for bank/jetty salmon fishing

Hey all, I'm new to the forum. Looking to take my daughter salmon fishing this weekend (9/19-8/20) for her 13th birthday. Looking for good spots to bank/jetty fishing. Planning on casting spinners. Don't have a whole lot of experience with salmon fishing. Done a lot of trout fishing for a couple decades. I was thinking tillamook bay or south. I live in Independence. Any suggestions would be awesome.

I've only fished once OFF of a jetty--for sea bass after sundown--in Newport. Hopefully other members will chime in; with some good tips. Although I do know that Ho's like hot pink Rooster Tails.
