Bass fishing near Salem?

Where are some good bass fishing spots near Salem. I NEED to catch some fish lol. Anyone with some good locations i would greatly appreciate it. thanks

There are several ponds OFF of S. River Rd. and Minto-Brown Island Rd.

There is also a Willy Slough, and some ponds at Willamette Mission State Park OFF of Wheatland Rd. NE.

I wasn't targeting Bass but I have found a number of good fighters in the areas around the pylons of both Highway 22W bridges that cross the Willamette on the Salem Waterfront Park.

Cool thanks for the info. What kind of lures or bait do you ise for these bass. New to the sport

I'd go with topwater plugs, now that we're into the dog days of summer.
