Believe it or not....It was nice, warm, and sunny at the coast Friday.

I had to go to Newport Friday weather was sunny I went up above toledo on the yaquina (N0t fishing)and there were a lot of boats trolling both up and down from the boat ramp and campground on the way up to elk city. I went back down the bay along the river past sawyers landing a few boats out there. Then I went up the alsea and it was dead saw only two boats on the river and very few fishing between tidewater and the rock crusher hole. Crabbing is good at home here in Half Moon Bay on the Umpqua but rough. crabs are all bay crabs though. I have seen very few ocean crabs here. I fished the lower umpqua saturday morning and did not mark many fish and the wind came up in the afternoon.
