Oh yeah! Over here in central oregon Prineville reservoir, davis lake and wickiup are all good. I pretty much learned how to fly fish at Prineville res and ponds around albany. Top water at davis in the reeds takes the cake. I have caught my biggest smallies on the willamette right in Albany on big black leeches.

Have had some luck tossing flies for bass at Hagg Lake. Morning/evening/cloudy usually best...if you're bank-bound look for them away from the dam esp. in the creek arms this time of year, and around the dam come late summer/autumn.

Definitely enjoy fly fishing for bass.
I like using topwaters and worm patterns for them.

Oh yeah, bass are great on a fly, they'll just hammer the thing. I fly fish a couple smaller and lesser-known urban lakes around here as well as hagg for them. At one of my hot spots on Saturday was fishing a mouse pattern and it got absolutely HAMMERED (huge spash) by probably a 5-10 pound largemouth...dang (yup, lost him).
