Spring chinook? Winter steelhead here in town?

Les Anderson owns the Ford dealership in Soldatna on the Kenai. The fish is mounted there. Kenai chinook turn red early like Tillamook fish. They taste like fall chinook. A guy named Pat Plautz from Hillsboro caught the second biggest in the mid90s that weighed over 96 pounds. Sadly few of...

C&R kayak sturgeon fishing, 1-26-12. lower Willamette

Nice bass! :-) The resident furbags have been working out back. So far I have only been able to confirm steelhead kills, plus I saw one (Californian, not Stellar) with a sturgeon about a week ago. When the gulls are agitated, it is time to get the scope on the water.

Flame retardants can come with the flames. That stuff usually fizzles as people figure out they really aren't that far apart. In fact it seems many times get into violent agreements! They just don't realize it and if not usually in time people can agree to disagree and move on. What I couldn't...

Well, pictures like the above only with a couple of ducks in them :naughty: caused such a ruckess it resulted in choosing not to be on the board that used to get them for almost two years now. Guess I figured it was time to do a little hopping.
