I was out there today for about 3hours and caught over twenty fish of all sizes!!! i stopped counting after 20!!!! It literally got to the point that i would let the fish try to unhook himself because i was tired of reeling in and unhooking them !!! What a great day!!! All were hooked on a size...

Are we talking about the smith river that runs to the coast in Smith River ,CA ???? If so It depends on which fork of the river your fishing on. Thats my home water so let me know if this is the case and ill point you to some good lesser known spots!!!

I've accessed the crooked near the opal springs area fly bum spoke of , long hike down into the canyon to fish , decent fishing access . I guess you could pack in and camp along the river somewhere. Tough hike out even for me and im in really good shape. I wouldnt do it again in one day only if...

Not sure where the arm of crooked river you speak of is ??? To the best of my knowledge the crooked river doesn't have bull trout in it... only rainbows and whitefish. Please correct me if im wrong . There are tons of campgrounds near below the dam just outside of prineville which also happens...
