What type of terminal gear do you need for this? I just moved here last year so I'm only set-up for steelies but thinking you need a nice salmon rod or better to haul these beasts up? What pound test do you run? Looks like some thick stuff.

Went out today and hit various holes in Dodge and also checked out Danbey and Lewis and Clark. Threw everything I had in the box at 'em with no luck. It seemed to be the same thing with everyone else I talked to at all the holes - maybe a little early and need some rain.

Fished on the Sandy for the first-time on Friday at Oxbow. Some really nice water by the launch and a few really nice stretches down the river that were a little tough to get but looks like they'll hold fish once they start to run. A lot of chinook spawning right by the launch but didn't see...
