Only seen one other guy fishin but I didn't go all the way down the Wilson, I could jus c one huggin the bottom of a fairly deep pool alone then at another spot seen 2 nice bucks behind a lil hen in some super slow kind of shallow water not movin at all hardly, didn't even no if they were fish...
Well went out last Wednesday with no luck on high water so I took off today for a couple hours, seen 4 steelhead, hooked up with one but lost it so I decided. To get out of the cold and come home to a steak, loved fishing while it was snowing tho (just a lil cold) but it can only get better...
I recently found some steelhead in a deep hole with verry slow curent and i am not really sure how to present my fly? they werent just holding deep a few of them were prettyclose to the surface and the rest on the bottom any help on how to approach this would b appreciated, thanks.
Ive been out ther the past to days and have done pretty go with bass and a couple carp takes but they really use those weed/lilypadd as an advantage. Good luck.
What are u fishing for? Its a really! weedy! pond, its loaded with carp, a few nice bass, some panfish but not stocked with to many trout although somepeople do pretty good for trout in the middle of the pond where i think its deepest

Im goin to the Deschutes for the first time on friday i have no idea about this river i live in hillsboro. Any advice on where to go for bank access and if there is a fly shop somewhere on or near the river would b great, thanks.
