How did gold lake fish for you guys? were you fishing out of a float tube or a pontoon boat?

it was amazinf=g green damsels worked thursday and friday and then zug bugz were working well saturday through mondaybiggest fish 15 inch rainbow cught on a zug bug mostly brook trout but about 10 rainbows!

Anyone know how gold lake is fishing?

My all time favorite lake is 3 creeks trolling nymphs in a float tube would be an amazing way to fish I have caught 31 bows and 2 brookies in one day on the far side of the lake a little creek comes in thats where you will catch the brookies very pleasant just to sit there not to mention catchin...

ok then that makes my decision not wanting to risk my life this early in the season haha

Maby headin up to the santiam this weekend. Using flies probably going to try and fish Mill city under the bridge and Minto park. Is minto ok to wade in do you think? Thanks for the info:pray:

I am thinking about hitting it up soon as well. I know that in lakes trolling copper johns, princes, and hairzares nymphs all work well. And for the big ones get down deep with a wooly bugger and troll that at a good pace.

about how far is it from Salem?
