I need to be honest with you. Springer fishing in that part of the valley is not very good. All the action is near Portland. Sandy , Clackamas , Columbia . Much brighter fish.

If you really want a good laugh read their weekly fishing report . Nothing but made up B.S.

Just talked to someone at O.D.F.W. , they are insisting that the main coho run has yet to arrive.

They already have enough people to cut the grass. Other then that I do not know what they do all day.

21 rods at Oxbow today , no coho . 40 or so at the hatchery . Last year it was awesome , I guess the kill nets got them all. I will call O.D.F.W. in the morning and ask them why. I do not expect much of a reply . They might not even know where the Sandy is.

Oxbow or Dodge

I hope so , this morning at Dabney , Oxbow , and Dodge , stone dead . Nothing . But there is always the snag festival at Ceder.

Lower river should be better , Dabney , Oxbow.

Trying again on Fri. The O.D.F.W. report insists there are lots more on the way. But we all know about their " reports ".
