FYI ODFW is counting released Coho against the quota. I was told for every two released one is counted in the quota. That is right out of a fish checkers mouth.....
Don't forget that even if you don't have a motor you need a invasive species permit if you are over 10'

A company called Trollmaster makes a nice remote throttle control. Together with Panther T4 remote steer. There remote just hangs around your neck so you can steer from anywhere on the boat. You can't beat it. I got mine about 5 years ago and it has been trouble free.
We were just east of the island. Did not mark any fish in real close to the island but as soon as it dropped off to 80-100 of water we started marking fish. We were using the small minow flashers and a hot pink apex tipped with plain corn (they did not like my pink dyed and brined corn)
We were there Sunday and found them in a line straight East of the island. They were anywhere from 35 to 60 feet deep. Brought home five nice ones for dinner.
Okuma just came out with a new Kokanee Special rod you might want to check out. 7'6" 4-6lb light action 2 piece. Can't wait to try them out. Bimart stocks them and under 50$.
I have not fished Lookout to much even though it is in my backyard :) A local oldtimer told me this last summer that they used to find a school of Kokanee up around the Goodman Creek area. Anyone here able to confirm if there still some in there?

Hi guys,
Where are you putting in at? Are you using the ramp on the north shore up by the old county park or the one on 58 at the upper end of the lake?
