Re-Curing Eggs
Re-Curing Eggs
I bought a few jars of eggs from a local guy and as I pull them out they still have quite a bit of liquid. Can I cure them again?
I just started buying the R & B's so don't have a ton of history on them. Been getting the standard Blue Fox's and can't wait to try these.
However, I just ordered the Summer Steelhead packet to check out the colors.
Just got on line to check the TCO's. Look very interesting. Looks like...
Thanks for the info. Appreciate it. I wasn't expecting to hit a nook but did want to try for some summer steelies. I'll check out the regs but looking to stick with spinners or maybe some jigs/yarn.
Heading up to Olallie campground on the upper McKenzie next weekend. Will take spoons with me. Any tips on good areas to toss one in? Will be bank fishing. Anything else I should try? Are they that far up?
Thanks
You can use some small spoons but shad darts are the way to go. Make sure you take chatreuse and some pink. Can also stick on colored grubs.
Use 3 way with weight and 36" leader.
Yes, fished from a boat at Meldrum. Didn't put in until 9:45 and fished for three hours and got our nine.
With Shad it's just hitting them when the schools pass by. So, you can get 2-3 in ten minutes and sit for a half hour.
That is a great link on the map. I fish a lot from mileposts 12-18 but still discovering new holes. Just depends on finding the water where you want to fish. If it's a weekday, no problem. If it's a weekend, you'll have lots of company so look for the parked rigs.
I've spent some time with a guide talking about this. He told me the Sandy is the best bet. Over the last number of years, the breeding stock has change to bring the hatchery fish up later so March and April now are the two key months for the upper part of the Sandy.
