    Fishing spots along bus routes

The lower clack, anywhere on the columbia near the city, pretty much anywhere on the willamette at least up to falls. Depends what you want to fish for but those should give you some variety including the salmon. You could also look at the local ponds for smaller prey, maybe salish ponds.

Tax pot and outdoor equipment to fund ODFW?

How about a marijuana endorsement on your license. $20 and you can smoke pot on your boat on any major waterway provided you are not the operator. Theres a few million right there.

    Trout on senkos?

Thats a pretty sweet trout for that tiny pond. As for the senko aspect, trout like worms, all it took was one swcond of that trout believing it was a worm and bam, you're hooked up.

    Springers at Bonneville Dam

There is a small slice of beach off the ainsworth park exit a little past the fishery. You might be challenged the hit the shad there, but it is probably a good bet for springers. The water was high on wednesday when I was on a boat near there and bank was very limited. You need to go past the...

    Beginner baitcasting set up.

Abu Garcia Black max, won't cost much and the reel is about the only baitcaster I can personally use without jacking it up.

    Hagg bank spots?

The dam area is good for smallmouth. I imagine any of the arms would have some great bass spots right now too.

    Keeping sturgeon off

Get a fishing buddy with terrible luck, they will help ypu not catch anymore sturgeon. May cause you to not catch any of the others too though. ;)

    2 rod license question

Lakes are all open for 2 rods unless it says it's closed. The special openings have been for moving water.

    Crappie fishing in Oregon

Tubes or jigs under a bobber, small spinners sometimes get 'em. I used to catch a few in the tualatin on those cheap yellow bodied jigs with a powerbait crappie nibble on the tip. They are in Hagg lake 100% sure.

Open seat for an early bird....

I went today with my uncle on the willy just above you. Nothing on our boat or any boat we saw out there.

    Sturgeon at Henry Hagg Lake?

I may have to put a few hours in with my 65 lb braid. I imagine it would be catch and release per the standard zone regs, but I might poop a little if I can hook a sturgeon there.
