The pinkish kinds are very weak. The might not even stay on the hook. Crawlers are tougher.

They look like tiny cocoons. Perhaps 1/2 the size of a pea.

Just found this while turning the compost pile today. In the picture with the measuring tape the worm was not quite fully extended. Im guessing a solid $5 Dollar Foot Long. :shock:Big ol' crawler none the less.

Ahhh, a little worm slime won't hurt anybody. I was a punk little kid, and had two older brothers, trust me, I survived PLENTY of worms...:lol:
