I finally hooked a keeper at the lake today.

I've never fished Henry hagg lake but I've heard some good trout and bass coming out of there any advice :thumb: just Friday 21st I hooked a good bass "larggie" fun fight but so close to shore it Didn't last long lol. Also I was fishing Huddleston pond in willamina oregon any advice on power bait flavors,colors,ect. Have a wonderful day/night.
And for beezus nice fish is Henry a big hike or is it right there also were using rainbow power bait or what?

I was using garlic powerbait with some pro cure blood tuna. So it on a fishing show and decided to try it.
 
All of the fish we have caught in Hagg were on sunrise (color) power eggs, two eggs on a number 8 hook. 15 to 20th off the bank.
 
Pretty nice trout there. It was a pretty windy day but still managed to get 7 keepers between my gf and I, 5 within the first hour and a half. Wedding ring with a piece of worm was working on a very slow troll.
