Winchester or Siuslaw??

I plan on crabbing on the 23rd. I would rather crab on the Siuslaw (closer) but have heard Winchester is red hot. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks

Caught my limit on the Siuslaw!

Good move to go to the Siuslaw. Went to Win on the 23rd and only got 6. It was a spur of the moment with frozen bait and 3 traps and 1 net. Watched other boats pull up 0 to a few each time and even a guide boat pull up empty pots. The bar was flat and anyone going outside came back in in less than 2hrs with full limits. Only had my 17ft boat with the Grady out with a bad starter couldn't convince the wife to run outside. After the day was over she said next time she would go outside if its flat. This part of the coast is still new to me since the move from gold beach

Slow on the Slaw Dock today but over the hill from there the perch bite was on and a nice crab to boot, cold and wet.
