Looking to head out to the willy this weekend. Anybody fish around Oregon City lately? I haven't seen many boats on the water, so I can't imagine many fish caught...

Wheatland Ferry by Mission State Park 7 Aug 2010. The weeds and algae were biting and my wife and I got our limit 
We were just above the ferry and the water was pretty low. I could have easily walked across at least 1/2 way across. We tried nightcrawlers, cheese, hot dog, spinners, jigs, salmon eggs, rappala minnows. The boss got a couple nibbles right by the edge of the algae, must have been baby bluegills or the like. From the watermark and dispersion of dried weed I'd guess the river was down at least 3 feet.
I think our next adventure will be down river a bit. I will say that yesterday was about as fine a day as you could ask for.
