Where did the trout go?!

I was fishing about 3-4 weeks ago and I was catching dozens of trout in McIver and Barton parks on the clackamas, now I have completely skunked out twice this week and the last! There weren't even fish jumping. Is there something i am missing?

No idea but wouldn't the different runs do it at different times? They aren't all born at the same time and ODFW releasese them at different times of the year. My point was that if you come across a bunch of small fish while fishing the Clackamas most likely they are juvenile Salmon/Steelhead.

I was pulling 12-14" trout out of mciver all year. There were plenty of smolts to but lots of trout.
