Went to the ABC yesterday.

Boredom and desperation for a fishing fix brought my to the park yesterday afternoon.
Lot of other folks jonesing from the looks of things there.
Got there about 5PM and tossed a little spoon for a bit with no action.
Settled down on the bank rigged my ultra light and tossed out some powerbait to do the B&W thing.
After a while and few bait color changes, I found what they seemed to be wiling to bite on.
I managed three of the what are called legal size tiny trout.
Better than no fishing though.

I know what you're saying! I've been working on ''the hole in the water that I throw money into'', (my boat) and waiting for some rain to wash a fresh batch of fish into the local rivers.

While the sun was on the water they were hitting the rainbow. As the shadow crept over the water they seemed to take to the yellow. Even the yellow in the rainbow is very bright, almost chrome yellow. The plain yellow is more subdued even with the glitter content. They showed no interest at all in the Flag.
I guess I could mention that I missed several bites while dicking around.

It was pretty good using a green wooly worm. I don't even know how many I caught. A bunch of legals and few large. I did give 3 to the Heron standing next to me.
