the road clear past the boat ramp got cleared with a backhoe the other day, went up with the toons and killed it. fish are surfacing every where. seems like the planters are hanging on top for the most part but the biggies are lurking a little deeper. released most of everything I caught on top with the fly rod and switched over to the spin rig and some lures.

have your float rig ready to drop in the water and get out to the middle of the lake as quickly a possible, the skeeters are always muderous on the shoreline. don your deet before leaving the house.
