Surf perch line shy?

Any thoughts on surf perch (primarily pink fin) being line shy? Need to re-spool an old real with new line and was wondering if high vis braid would be a problem.

I put about 25 feet of mono top shot on my braid on my perch rods. 20 lb

Just add leader, 20-25lb Seaguar. Personally, I like hi vis yellow to see exactly where my rig is in the surf.

In the surf, I use 30 lb. braid with 3-4 feet of 15 lb. mono, hi-lo rig with 2 2"-3" dropper loops. If they're line shy, it doesn't show in my catch rate; I can't remember the last time I got skunked.
