Gonna be in sunriver for four days during labor day weekend and I've read/heard you can catch browns in the deschutes there. I also read you can use lures yet it says fly only? Anyone know or have any advice/tips thanks!

That stretch is open for bait. Use big plugs with a sporadic retrieve.

Rapalas man..The basic Black and Silver with a slight bit of red underneath is a favorite of mine... Like he said put some extra action to it makes all the difference. The Browns love it when you get sporadic with it.. Dont matter where your at.

I greatly enjoy Besson day use area, I've always found drifting a worm with a bit of air pumped in works great. I take my 2 kids there because it has multiple holes and always has some great brownies hiding in one hole or another.
