Sturgeon retention still on!

Even if legal to retain please practice catch and release on these fish.

I would assume that when the lock at the falls was working sturgeon could swim up through there. Now that the lock is closed I would assume that this path is closed.

They do have fish ladders there -- which is kinda how the coho get up there.

I have heard that sturgeon tend to shy away from the fish ladders on the Columbia, so I would bet very few, if any, use the ladders at Willamette falls.
