I recently drove over Santiam pass and I was pleasantly surprised to see how much snow was up there. It has snowed more since and rained A LOT. If Detroit, Green Peter, and Lookout point don’t fill this year it will be due to poor management by the Army Corps of Engineers.

Interesting. I never thought of any carp species being piscivores. Did it put up much of a fight?

This days I have only a very delicate spinning rod with wait test 1-5 gr (I guess it's 0.03 - 0.17 ounce), so I can target only small perch and tiny baby pike. This guy pulled me to a river, and I was feeling like I have not a rod in my hand but a spaghetti. )
