Speydicator?

Ha! Yea, I am thinking the same thing....you just put in a big mend and then....oh crap! I can see why with all that line out that guys like to swing because you don't have all that slack line. I think Summers might be easier as they have a greater chance of almost hooking themselves. Comments??
 
i agree that the summer are more agressive and will most likely hook themselves. Winter fish are more sluggish and more often then not have a supper soft bite. most of the time they've already spit the fly before you can set the hook anyways.
 
...and that's why i'll stick to swinging - good connection to the fly; and eliciting the chase instinct means "auto" :pray: hook set after the big tug and turn.

although... so far i hv not elicited any chase yet...
